Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge to the south is moving east and will be followed by a new ridge
developing over the south of the State next week, maintaining easterly winds
across the north.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extending from central parts of the state to the west Eucla coast will
continue to move east ahead of a cold front moving along the south coast. A
weak ridge will extend over the west coast on Sunday with another weak cold
front brushing the south coast. The ridge will slide south into the Bight on
Tuesday and a west coast trough will start to form later on Tuesday and
Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 3 May
Light showers over the South West Land Division and southwest Goldfields.

Forecast for Sunday 4 May
Showers over the western parts of the South West Land Division. Chance of a
shower over the far north Kimberley coast. Morning fog possible over the
Central West, western parts of the Central Wheat Belt, southern Goldfields,
adjacent South East Coastal district and western Eucla.

Forecast for Monday 5 May
Light showers over southwestern parts of the South West Land Division. Chance
of a shower over the northern Kimberley. Morning fog possible over inland
southwestern parts of the South West Land Division, Eucla and adjacent
southeast Goldfields.

Forecast for Tuesday 6 May
Light showers over southern coastal districts of the South West Land Division,
extending east along the Eucla coast later in the day. Morning fog possible
over inland southern parts of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields
and adjacent Eucla.

Forecast for Wednesday 7 May
Light showers about the south coast. Morning fog possible over southern parts.
Windy in the morning over northern parts.
