Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over the south of the State is directing a fresh and gusty easterly
flow over Pilbara and Kimberley waters, easing on the weekend.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad trough lies off the west coast with a ridge over the south of State.
The trough will move inland on Friday ahead of an approaching cold front.
Forecast for the rest of Thursday 1 May
Mostly clear across the State.
Forecast for Friday 2 May
Showers and possible thunderstorms west of a line Perth to Albany, with showers
spreading to west of a line Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay in the afternoon and
evening. Winds easing across the southern Kimberley, Interior, inland Pilbara
and southwestern parts of the state.
Forecast for Saturday 3 May
Showers over the South West Land Division and southwest Goldfields.
Forecast for Sunday 4 May
Showers over the southwestern and southern parts of the South West Land
Division. Morning fog possible over inland parts of the Central West western
parts of the Central Wheat Belt.
Forecast for Monday 5 May
Showers over the southwestern and southern parts of the South West Land
Division.
