Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge to the south of the State is directing a fresh to strong easterly flow
over Pilbara and Kimberley waters, easing later in the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge over southern WA will linger until later in the week. A broad trough
lies off the west coast. The trough will move inland on Friday ahead of an
approaching cold front.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 30 April
Possible showers over the northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 1 May
Mostly clear across the State. Windy across the northern, central and
southwestern parts of the state. Very warm across the Central West and Lower
West.

Forecast for Friday 2 May
Showers and possible thunderstorms south of a line Perth to Albany, with
showers spreading to south of a line Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay in the afternoon
and evening. Winds easing across the southern Kimberley, Interior, inland
Pilbara and southwestern parts of the state.

Forecast for Saturday 3 May
Showers over the South West Land Division and southwest Goldfields. Chance of a
shower over the far south Gascoyne and west Eucla. Chance of a morning
thunderstorm over the southern Lower West.

Forecast for Sunday 4 May
Showers over the southwestern and southern parts of the South West Land
Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Thursday.
