Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough lies near the Kimberley and Pilbara coasts. A ridge over southern
WA will push the trough offshore during the mornings this week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge over southern WA will linger until later in the week. A broad trough
forming near the Gascoyne coast will move offshore today before moving back
near the west coast on Thursday. The trough will move inland on Friday ahead of
an approaching cold front.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 29 April
Possible showers over northeast Kimberley, eastern parts of South Coastal,
South East Coastal, adjacent Goldfields, and Eucla districts. Possible morning
fog over inland southern parts of the South West Land Division, far southern
Goldfields, Eucla and adjacent South Interior. Windy across the Pilbara, North
Interior, Gascoyne, Central West and the Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 April
Possible showers over the northern Kimberley and Eucla coast. Chance of morning
fog over the Eucla. Windy throughout the day across the Pilbara, North
Interior, Gascoyne and Kimberley. Windy in the morning across southwest WA.

Forecast for Thursday 1 May
Chance of a shower about the north Kimberley coast. Windy across the northern,
central and southwestern parts of the state. Very warm across the Central West
and Lower West.

Forecast for Friday 2 May
Showers and possible thunderstorms south of a line Yanchep to Bremer Bay, with
showers spreading to south of a line Dongara to Ravensthorpe in the afternoon
and evening. Windy across the southern Kimberley, Interior, inland Pilbara and
southwestern parts of the state.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
