Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies near the Kimberley and Pilbara coasts. A ridge over southern WA
will push the trough offshore during the mornings.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge over southern WA will linger until later in the week. A broad trough
forming near the Gascoyne coast will move offshore on Tuesday before moving
back to the west coast on Wednesday. The trough will deepen near the west coast
later in the week. Meanwhile, a weak cloud band extending over the southern
Interior and Eucla will contract out of the state by Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 27 April
Light showers over southern coastal districts, Great Southern and far southern
Goldfields, easing over the southern Interior. Chance of a shower or
thunderstorm over the western Pilbara.

Forecast for Monday 28 April
Light showers over the southern parts of the South West, South Coastal, Great
Southern, South East Coastal, southern Goldfields and Eucla districts and
adjacent South Interior. Possible morning fog over southern coastal districts
and the Great Southern. Showers possible over the far northeast coastal
Kimberley. Windy in the morning across central parts of the state.

Forecast for Tuesday 29 April
Possible showers over the northeast Kimberley, South East Coastal and Eucla
districts. Possible morning fog over the inland southern parts of the South
West Land Division, far southern Goldfields and Eucla. Windy across the
Pilbara, North Interior, Gascoyne, Central West and the Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 April
Possible shower over the northern Kimberley and Eucla coast. Possible morning
fog over the Eucla, adjacent South East Coastal and far southeast Goldfields.
Windy throughout the day across the Pilbara, North Interior, Gascoyne and
Kimberley, windy in the morning across southwest WA.

Forecast for Thursday 1 May
Chance of a shower late in the evening about the southwest coast. Windy across
the northern, central and southwestern parts of the state. Very warm across the
Central West and Lower West.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
