Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge should persist over the north of the State for the next few days. A
trough should develop over the western Pilbara on Wednesday before being pushed
eastwards on Thursday by a new high pressure ridge extending across central
parts of the State.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough near the west coast will move inland during Wednesday ahead of a cold
front.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 21 April
Showers over the Kimberley, North Interior, and northeastern Pilbara. Chance of
showers or thunderstorms over the western Gascoyne and South West Land Division
north of a line from about Perth to Kellerberrin.
Forecast for Tuesday 22 April
Possible showers and the chance of a thunderstorm over the southwestern
Kimberley, northeastern Pilbara, and southwest of the State. Warm over western
parts of the State.
Forecast for Wednesday 23 April
Possible thunderstorms over the central and western Pilbara. most of the South
West Land Division, southern Gascoyne, and southwest Goldfields. Showers west
of a line from Port Hedland to Wiluna to Cocklebiddy.
Forecast for Thursday 24 April
Showers possible southwest of a line from about Karratha to Warburton. Chance
of a thunderstorm over inland western parts of the Pilbara. Milder over the
southwest of the State.
Forecast for Friday 25 April
Showers possible over southern districts, extending into southern parts of the
Great Southern, Goldfields and Interior. Mild temperature over the southern
half of the State.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
