Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough will remain roughly stationary near the west Pilbara coast for most of
the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is extending along the south coast. A trough lies near
the west coast and will deepen and move offshore on Wednesday and Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 2 April
Possible showers near the Pilbara coast and far eastern Kimberley. Light
showers possible over the south coast and adjacent inland parts east of Bremer
Bay. Milder temperatures over southern parts of the State.

Forecast for Thursday 3 April
Possible showers over the Kimberley and near the Pilbara coast. Showers
developing south of a line Lancelin to Esperance in the afternoon, with the
chance of an evening thunderstorm in coastal areas between Jurien Bay and
Mandurah. Windy through the Gascoyne, Central West, southern Kimberley and
North Interior.

Forecast for Friday 4 April
Possible showers over the Kimberley, far northern Interior and near the Pilbara
coast. Showers extending over the South West Land Division, southwestern
Goldfields and Eucla coast, with areas of rain through the Great Southern.
Chance of thunderstorms in coastal parts of the Central West and Lower West.
Windy across much of the South West Land Division and southern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Saturday 5 April
Showers over the Kimberley, western Pilbara, Gascoyne, South West Land
Division, southwest Goldfields and near the Eucla coast. Chance of
thunderstorms in the eastern Kimberley. Windy over the southern Gascoyne,
Central Wheatbelt and Lower West.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
