Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over northern WA.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough over the eastern districts moves east and out of the state during
today. A ridge of high pressure moves over the south coast, with a trough
deepening inland from the west coast from Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 27 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over most parts of the Kimberley, north and
west Pilbara, west and south Gascoyne, Goldfields, far west Eucla, Central
West, northeast Central Wheat Belt and eastern South East Coastal districts.
Showers over the southern South West Land Division, easing during the day. Very
hot over western parts of the Pilbara, northern Gascoyne, central Interior,
northeastern Goldfields, and northeast Central West District.

Forecast for Friday 28 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over most parts of the Kimberley, north and
west Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, and northeast Central Wheat Belt. Showers
clearing over the far southern Goldfields, South East Coastal district and the
Eucla.Very hot over western parts of the Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, central
Interior, northern Goldfields and northeast Central West District.

Forecast for Saturday 1 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, north and
west Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, and northern and central Goldfields. Chance of a
light shower about the south coastal fringe.Very hot over western parts of the
Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, central Interior, northern Goldfields and far
northeast Central West District.

Forecast for Sunday 2 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, north and
west Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, and fare northern Goldfields. Very hot over
western parts of the Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, central Interior, northern
Goldfields and far northeast Central West District.
