Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over northern WA.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure becomes established over south of the state, whilst
later today a trough will develop inland and linger until the weekend.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 26 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, north
and west Goldfields and northeast South West Land Division. Showers over the
southern South West Land Division. Very hot over western parts of the Pilbara
and northwest Gascoyne, central Interior, northern Goldfields, and inland
northern South West Land Division.
Forecast for Thursday 27 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over most parts of the Kimberley, north and
west Pilbara, west and south Gascoyne, west and south Goldfields, far west
Eucla, northeast Central West, northeast Central Wheat Belt and eastern South
East Coastal districts. Showers over the southern South West Land Division.
Very hot over western parts of the Pilbara, northern Gascoyne, central
Interior, northeastern Goldfields, and northeast Central West District.
Forecast for Friday 28 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over most parts of the Kimberley, north and
west Pilbara, west and south Gascoyne, and northeast Central Wheat Belt.
Showers clearing over the far southern Goldfields, South East Coastal district
and the Eucla.Very hot over western parts of the Pilbara, inland Gascoyne,
central Interior, northern Goldfields and northeast Central West District.
Forecast for Saturday 1 March
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, north and
west Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, northern and central Goldfields, and northeast
Central Wheat Belt. Chance of a light shower about the south coastal
fringe.Very hot over western parts of the Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, central
Interior, northern Goldfields and far northeast Central West District.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
