Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over northern WA.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough is moving over eastern parts of the South West Land Division and then
into the Gascoyne and Goldfields today. A weak cold front will brush the far
southwest coast this afternoon. From Wednesday a weak ridge is moving in over
western parts in the wake of the trough but will slip south of the State.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 25 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, North Interior,
inland Gascoyne and Goldfields. Possible showers over the southern and central
South West Land Division with the chance of thunderstorms over eastern parts.
Very hot over western parts of the Pilbara, Gascoyne, most of the Goldfields
and eastern Central West district.

Forecast for Wednesday 26 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, western
Goldfields and northeast South West Land Division. Showers over the southern
South West Land Division. Very hot over western parts of the Pilbara, inland
Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and inland northern South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 27 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the north and west Pilbara and Kimberley,
west and south Gascoyne, west and south Goldfields, far west Eucla, northeast
Central West, northeast Central Wheat Belt and eastern South East Coastal
districts. Showers over the southern South West Land Division. Very hot over
western parts of the Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and
northeast Central West district.

Forecast for Friday 28 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the north and west Pilbara and Kimberley
and northwest Gascoyne. Possible clearing showers over the far southern
Goldfields, Southeast Coastal district and the Eucla.Very hot over western
parts of the Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and inland northern
South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
