Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the North Interior and southern Kimberley and extends
west into the Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extends over the Gascoyne and into the Goldfields and will move east
on Monday as another stronger ridge develops from the west. Another trough will
be situated along the west coast on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 2 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, North Interior, Pilbara and
far northwest Gascoyne. Very hot over most of the State apart from the
southwest and south coasts.

Forecast for Monday 3 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northwestern North
Interior, Pilbara and far northern Gascoyne. Possible light shower over
southern districts of the South West Land Division. Very hot over most of the
State apart from the west coastal fringe and southern districts of the South
West Land Division. Windy at times over southern and central parts of the State.

Forecast for Tuesday 4 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northwestern North
Interior, Pilbara and northern Gascoyne. Possible light showers near the south
coast, east of Albany. Very hot over most of the State, apart from southern
parts of the South West Land Division. Windy at times over southern and central
parts of the State.

Forecast for Wednesday 5 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northwestern North
Interior, Pilbara and northwest Gascoyne. Very hot over most of the State,
apart from southern parts of the South West Land Division. Windy at times over
southern and central parts of the State.
