Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A slow moving trough extends from inland Pilbara to the North Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough over the South Interior is moving north as a ridge builds over
southern WA. A weak front is brushing past the south coast. A new trough will
develop down the west coast on Saturday, before moving inland on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 26 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northeast Pilbara, and
central and eastern parts of the Interior. Possible showers over far southern
parts of the South West Land Division, Eucla and southeast South Interior.
Windy over central and eastern parts. Cool over southern WA, hot to very hot
elsewhere.

Forecast for Friday 27 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, and northern Interior. Possible showers over far southern parts of the
South West Land Division, and Eucla coast. Windy over central parts. Hot to
very hot over eastern Kimberley, Pilbara, North Interior and northwest Gascoyne.

Forecast for Saturday 28 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Interior
and inland northwest Gascoyne. Chance of morning fog over the southern parts of
the South West Land Division. Windy over central and southwestern parts. Hot to
very hot over the Pilbara, North Interior, western Gascoyne and northern parts
of Central West.

Forecast for Sunday 29 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Interior
and inland northern Gascoyne. Chance of a thunderstorm with little to no
rainfall over southern Gascoyne, eastern parts of Central Wheat Belt and
western Goldfields. Windy in the southwest. Hot to very hot over the Pilbara,
northern Interior, inland Gascoyne, inland Central West, Central Wheat Belt,
eastern parts of Great Southern, inland parts of South Coastal and South East
Coastal.
