Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge pushing in from the west, is bringing fresh southwesterly
winds to the western Pilbara. Elsewhere a trough extends from the inland
eastern Pilbara into the Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies over southern parts of the State before a weak cold front moves
through the far southwest on Wednesday. Another ridge develops south of the
State later Wednesday and it will remain there for the week.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 3 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northeast Interior. Possible
showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Albany. Warmer in central and
western parts.

Forecast for Wednesday 4 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northern and eastern parts of
the Interior. Possible heavy falls with thunderstorms over the northern
Kimberley. Possible showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Hopetoun.

Forecast for Thursday 5 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern and eastern parts of the
Interior and far east Eucla. Possible heavy falls with thunderstorms over the
northern Kimberley. Possible shower over southern coastal districts.

Forecast for Friday 6 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, eastern Pilbara and
eastern Eucla. Possible shower over southeastern coastal districts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
