Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure extends over the Kimberley, Pilbara and North
Interior.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong ridge lies over the southern parts of the state, while a trough is
developing along. The trough will move inland Saturday, and further east on
Sunday ahead of a cold front brushing the southwest corner on Sunday morning.
Forecast for the rest of Thursday 28 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior, Pilbara
and northern Gascoyne. Chance of a light shower along the south coast east of
Esperance. Windy through central parts of the state, mostly in the morning.
Forecast for Friday 29 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northeast North Interior,
inland west Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, Central West and far northeastern parts
of the Central Wheat Belt districts. Slight chance of a light shower over the
southeast Eucla coast.
Forecast for Saturday 30 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne,
Interior, and western Goldfields. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over
inland parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Sunday 1 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, far east Pilbara, east
Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and far eastern parts of the South West Land
division. Possible showers southwest of a line Perth to Mount Barker.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
