Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure extends over the Kimberley, Pilbara and North
Interior.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is strengthening over southern parts of the State. A new trough
develops near the west coast on Thursday and deepens on Friday. The trough will
move inland on Sunday ahead of a cold front.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 27 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior, Pilbara and
far northern Gascoyne. Isolated showers along the south coastal districts.
Windy through central parts of the state.
Forecast for Thursday 28 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior, inland Pilbara
and northern Gascoyne. Chance of showers along the south coast east of Albany
and over the Eucla district. Windy through central parts of the state.
Forecast for Friday 29 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Gascoyne,
northeast North Interior, Central West, northeast Lower West and northern parts
of Central Wheat Belt districts. Slight chance of a shower over the southeast
Eucla district coast.
Forecast for Saturday 30 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Gascoyne,
Interior, western Goldfields and inland parts of the South West Land Division.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
