Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the inland Kimberley to the west Pilbara coast. Another
trough lies through the Interior, but will move northeast and weaken today.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure extends along the south coast. A trough develops near
the west coast during today, deepening on Sunday before moving inland in the
afternoon. A new ridge strengthens south of the state during the start of next
week.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 23 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, northern
and eastern Interior and far eastern Eucla. Isolated light showers along the
south coast, east of Esperance.

Forecast for Sunday 24 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern and eastern
Interior, central and eastern Pilbara, inland Gascoyne and northwestern parts
of the South West Land Division. Isolated light showers along the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Monday 25 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, central and
eastern Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields and northern and eastern parts of
the South West Land Division. Chance of showers over remaining southern parts
of the State.

Forecast for Tuesday 26 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, central and
eastern Pilbara, Gascoyne and northern parts of the Goldfields and Central
West. Chance of showers over remaining southern parts of the State.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
