Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough will persist across inland WA over the weekend. A ridge
extending over southern WA will bring fresh southwesterly winds to the western
Pilbara at times.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A new ridge is building near the south coast of the State while a broad trough
lies over inland parts. A cold front will move over southwest parts on Tuesday
with another on Wednesday, as a low pressure system moves to the south.
Forecast for the rest of Saturday 2 November
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley and adjacent North
Interior. Possible light showers over the Lower West, southern central West,
southwest Central Wheat Belt and northern Great Southern districts.
Forecast for Sunday 3 November
Remaining mild over southern WA with a chance of showers south of a line from
Geraldton to Leonora. Isolated thunderstorms possible over the southern
Goldfields and adjacent parts of the Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern and
Southeast Coastal districts. Possible showers and storms over much of the
Kimberley, North Interior and northeastern parts of the South Interior.
Remaining very hot over the inland parts of the north and east of the State.
Forecast for Monday 4 November
Slight chance of a shower about the Southwest and Eucla coasts. Possible
showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, North Interior and
eastern parts of the South Interior. Remaining very hot over the inland parts
of the north and east of the State.
Forecast for Tuesday 5 November
Showers increasing southwest of a line from Geraldton to Esperance. Possible
showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, North Interior and
eastern parts of the South Interior. Remaining very hot over the inland parts
of the north and east of the State.
Forecast for Wednesday 6 November
Showers southwest of a line from Denham to Kalgoorlie. Possible showers and
thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, North Interior and
northeastern parts of the South Interior.
