Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the Kimberley and Pilbara, and will persist through
the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge lies to the south of the state with a trough inland from
the west coast. Another trough rapidly develops near the west coast on Thursday
before moving inland on Friday. A cold front will move over the southwest of
the state on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 30 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the north and west Kimberley, eastern
Pilbara, western and southern Interior, far eastern Gascoyne, most parts of the
Goldfields and inland Eucla. Possible light showers developing about southern
coastal parts of the South West Land Division. Hot to very hot over northern
parts, the Gascoyne, north and central Goldfields and central and northern
parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 31 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley. Possible light showers
over southern coastal districts in the morning. Hot to very hot over northern
parts, the Gascoyne, north and central Goldfields, and central and northern
South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 1 November
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley. Chance of a shower about
the western south coast late in the evening. Windy at times over central and
western parts of the state. Hot to very hot over northern parts, the Gascoyne,
Goldfields, and inland South West Land Division.

Forecast for Saturday 2 November
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley. Showers with cooler
temperatures over the South West Land Division. Hot to very hot over northern
and eastern parts of the State.
