Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough extends from the Kimberley to the northern Interior. Another
trough is located over inland Pilbara, while a ridge to the south brings a
southerly wind change to western Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A slow moving trough over the South West Land Division will move east on
Monday, ahead of a weak cold front in the southwest. Meanwhile, a ridge over
the central west coast will slowly move southeast over the next few days to be
located near the south coast on Tuesday before moving east as well, ahead of a
more substantial cold front on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 13 October
Light morning showers or drizzle possible near the coast of South Coastal and
western parts of South East Coastal. Showers and chance of a thunderstorm over
the southern Goldfields, eastern parts of South East Coastal, and western
Eucla. Chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm over the northern
Kimberley. Chance of morning fog over inland parts of the Central West and
adjacent Lower West districts. Very hot through the southern Kimberley, very
warm over inland northern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 14 October
Showers developing south of a line Dongara to Esperance, extending north to
Kalbarri in the evening. Chance of showers and thunderstorms over the eastern
parts of South East Coastal district, far southern Goldfields and Eucla. Chance
of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm over the northern Kimberley. Chance of
morning fog over the inland southern and central parts of the South West Land
Division. Very hot through the southern Kimberley, very warm over eastern parts
of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 15 October
Light showers over the western and southern parts of the South West Land
Division, clearing by afternoon. Chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm
over the northern Kimberley. Very hot through the southern Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 16 October
Showers over the southern and western parts South West Land Division. Showers
and chance of a thunderstorm over the southern Goldfields, South East Coastal ,
eastern parts of Central Wheat Belt, eastern parts of Great Southern and Eucla.
Chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm over the northern Kimberley.
Windy south of the Kimberley. Very hot through the southern Kimberley.
