Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge builds about the Gascoyne coast. A low pressure system strengthens in
the Kimberley with a trough extending along the Pilbara coast. This low
pressure system and trough will persist through to the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lays about the Central West and Gascoyne coasts,
gradually moving south today and Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 4 October
Showers over the South West Land Division. Chance of an afternoon shower or
thunderstorm over the Kimberley and Northern Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 5 October
Showers over western and far southern parts of the South West Land Division.
Chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm over the Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 6 October
Showers southwest of a line from Perth to Bremer Bay. Chance of an afternoon
shower or thunderstorm over the northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 7 October
Light showers southwest of a line from Busselton to Albany. Chance of an
afternoon shower or thunderstorm over the northwestern Kimberley and over the
eastern Goldfields and southeastern Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
