Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough of low pressure will remain over the southern Kimberley and
Northern Interior for the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge extends along the south coast whilst a broad trough lies
inland from the west coast. A weak cold front will brush the southwest corner
of the State on Monday before a new ridge moves in from the west.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 22 September
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior, inland
Gascoyne, northern parts of the Central West and northern Goldfields. Isolated
heavy falls possible across the inland Kimberley, inland Pilbara and Northern
Interior. Light showers about the southwest coast. Chance of morning fog over
the South East Coastal and Eucla districts. Smoke haze possible during the
morning for parts of the South West, Lower West, southwest Central Wheat Belt
and western Great Southern districts.

Forecast for Monday 23 September
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior,
northeastern Gascoyne, and northern Goldfields. Isolated heavy falls possible
across the inland Kimberley and the Interior. Light showers possible over the
southwest corner of the State. Chance of morning fog over southern parts of the
South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 24 September
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Interior and adjacent parts
Goldfields. Showers possible over the Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, Eucla,
Goldfields and southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 25 September
Showers east of a line from about Newman to Bremer Bay and along the Albany
coast. Thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley, and eastern parts
of the Northern Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
