Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough of low pressure is developing over the Kimberley and Pilbara as
a ridge over the Interior moves away.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front is brushing past the south coast today, followed by a high
pressure ridge rapidly developing along the south coast on Thursday and Friday.
A weak west coast trough will form by Friday, move inland and deepen gradually
later in the weekend ahead of another weak cold front brushing past the south
coast.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 19 September
Light showers or drizzle over southern coastal districts, and southern
Goldfields, mainly in the morning. Chance of a shower about northern Kimberley
in the afternoon. Cooler over southern districts. Chance of isolated frost over
inland South Coastal and Great Southern districts.

Forecast for Friday 20 September
Light showers south of a line Harvey to Israelite Bay and along the Eucla
coast. Showers or thunderstorms over the Kimberley, adjacent North Interior and
northern Pilbara, mainly during the afternoon and evening. Possible morning
frosts over inland southern parts of the South West Land Division, far southern
Goldfields and inland Eucla.

Forecast for Saturday 21 September
Light showers or drizzle over the south coastal districts. Showers or
thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, northeast Gascoyne and far
northern Goldfields. Isolated heavy falls possible across inland Kimberley and
the Pilbara. Chance of morning fog and frost over southern parts of the South
West Land Division, southern Goldfields and Eucla.

Forecast for Sunday 22 September
Showers or thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne and
northern Goldfields. Isolated heavy falls possible across the Kimberley, inland
Pilbara and Interior. Light showers about the southwest coast. Chance of
morning fog over southern parts of the South West Land Division, southern
Goldfields and Eucla.
