Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A strong high pressure system to the southeast continues to direct fresh and
gusty east to southeast winds across the region. Winds will begin to ease from
Wednesday as the high pressure system moves away to the southeast and a broad
trough becomes established over the Kimberley and Pilbara regions.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia

near the west coast. The trough will move inland from the west coast on
Tuesday, ahead of a weak cold front forecast to brush along the south coast
overnight Tuesday and Wednesday. A high pressure ridge will rapidly develop
along the south coast on Thursday and Friday in the wake of the cold front.
