Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the Pilbara to the Kimberley. A ridge developing over
central WA from Friday will bring a southeast wind change to the Pilbara and
Interior, and push the trough over the Pilbara further north.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is moving east across the far southwest of the state this morning.
Meanwhile, a trough has become slow moving over the Interior. A ridge of high
pressure will extend over southern and central WA on Friday and will push the
trough over the Interior further east.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 5 September
Showers over the South West Land Division, southern and western Gascoyne,
southern and central Goldfields, southern Interior and Eucla. Chance of an
afternoon shower about the north Kimberley coast. Chance of a gusty
thunderstorm south of a line Gingin to Bremer Bay, eastern Eucla and adjacent
South Interior. Brief snow flurries possible over Bluff Knoll. Small hail
possible south of a line Dongara to Lake Grace to Israelite Bay. Areas of
morning fog over northwest Kimberley. Windy over southern and central WA. Surf
conditions will be hazardous for coastal activities between Shark Bay and
Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Friday 6 September
Showers south of a line from Denham to Merredin to Israelite Bay, South
Interior, and eastern Eucla. Isolated afternoon showers about the north and
northwest Kimberley coasts. Chance of morning fog and frost over inland South
West Land Division, southeast Gascoyne, and western Goldfields. Chance of
morning fog over northern Kimberley. Windy in the morning through the Interior,
Pilbara and northern Gascoyne. Surf conditions will be hazardous for coastal
activities between Cape Naturaliste and Albany.

Forecast for Saturday 7 September
Light showers south of a line from Dongara to Israelite Bay, and over central
Interior. Isolated afternoon showers about the northwest Kimberley coast.
Chance of morning fog over inland South West Land Division, southwest
Goldfields and northwest Kimberley. Chance of morning frost over eastern parts
of Central Wheat Belt, northeast Great Southern, Goldfields and Eucla. Wind in
the morning through central Interior, northern Gascoyne and Pilbara.

Forecast for Sunday 8 September
Light showers south of a line Mandurah to Balladonia, and over central eastern
parts of the Interior. Isolated afternoon showers about the northwest Kimberley
coast. Chance of morning frost over southwest Goldfields. Wind in the morning
through central parts of the state.
