Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough the Interior and inland Kimberley will weaken as it moves westward
during the weekend, as a high pressure ridge brings an easterly flow through
much of northern WA. The northern end of a trough will move across the west
Pilbara coast during Sunday evening before stagnating over inland parts of the
region early next week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will gradually give way over southern parts of the
State today as a cold front approaches the southwest corner. The front and an
associated cold front will pass through the South West Land Division during
tonight and Sunday, followed by another cold front quickly brushing past the
south coast on Sunday night. A weak ridge will quickly pass through central WA
on Monday and Tuesday before the next cold front reaching the South West during
late Tuesday or early Wednesday.
