Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over eastern Australia directs an easterly flow over the Kimberley
while a trough is also moving over the Pilbara. A cloud band over the Pilbara
is extending to the Interior and southern Kimberley.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is moving east over the southeast of the State today and is
followed by a ridge of high pressure extending across southern WA.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 2 August
Showers over the southern and western districts of the South West Land
Division, eastern Eucla, Interior, northeast Gascoyne and Pilbara. Small hail
possible about the south coast. Chance of a thunderstorm over the northern
Gascoyne. Chance of morning frost over the inland South West Land Division and
adjacent Goldfields.

Forecast for Saturday 3 August
Showers over the far southern parts of the South West Land Division, Pilbara,
northeast Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, Interior and southwest Kimberley.
Chance of a thunderstorm over the northeast Gascoyne and far western Interior.
Chance of morning frost over the inland South West Land Division, southern
Goldfields, and western Eucla.

Forecast for Sunday 4 August
Showers along the southwestern and southern coasts, Interior, southwest
Kimberley, eastern Goldfields and Eucla. Chance of morning frost over the
inland South West Land Division and southwest Goldfields.

Forecast for Monday 5 August
Showers southwest of line from Jurien Bay to Ravensthorpe. Light showers also
possible over the southeastern Interior and eastern Eucla. Chance of morning
frost over the southwestern Central Wheat Belt and Great Southern.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
