Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over central parts of the state is moving east. A weak cloud band
brings unseasonal patchy light rain to parts of the Kimberley until Tuesday.
Another cloud band developing over the Pilbara midweek will contract to the
Interior and southern Kimberley later in the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge over central parts of the state is moving east. A series of cold fronts
and troughs will move across southwest WA this week. A cold front located near
the Southwest Capes will move east across the west coast during Sunday evening
and weaken as it moves inland on Monday. Another stronger cold front will
couple with a cloud band to bring widespread rain to much of southern and
central WA on Wednesday and Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 28 July
Rain and showers south of a line Denham to Esperance. Gusty thunderstorms south
of a line Eneabba to Albany, with heavy falls possible. Light showers over
central and eastern Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 29 July
Rain and showers with the chance of a gusty thunderstorm south of a line Denham
to Eyre. Showers possible over northern Kimberley. Windy in the morning across
eastern Kimberley and northern Interior. Tides will be higher than normal about
the Perth coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 30 July
Rain and showers with the chance of a thunderstorm southwest of a line Denham
to Eucla. Light showers clearing northwest Kimberley. Tides will be higher than
normal about the Perth coast. Dangerous surf conditions for coastal activities
about the southwest coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 31 July
Rain and showers with chance of a thunderstorm southwest of a line from Port
Hedland to Eucla. Possible heavy falls and damaging wind gusts in thunderstorms
over the western districts of the South West Land Division. Windy about the
Goldfields and eastern Gascoyne. Tides will be higher than normal about the
Perth coast.

Forecast for Thursday 1 August
Rain and showers over the South West Land Division, Gascoyne, Eucla,
Goldfields, central and southern Interior, and Pilbara. Chance of thunderstorms
over southern parts of the South West Land Division and adjacent Goldfields.
Windy at times about central and southern WA. Tides will be higher than normal
about the west and south coasts.
