Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over central parts of the State is directing southeasterly winds across
the Pilbara and Kimberley, tending fresh and gusty during the mornings. A cloud
band is developing over the northern Kimberley. A trough will lie near the
Pilbara coast on Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure over central parts of the State is moving east as a
cold front approaches from the west. The cold front will move over southwest WA
on Sunday and Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 27 July
Showers developing southwest of Jurien Bay to Walpole, mainly later in the day.
Light showers also possible over the north and east Kimberley. Possible morning
frost over eastern parts of the South West Land Division, the southern
Goldfields and northern Eucla. Possible morning fog over inland parts of the
South West Land Division and the southern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Sunday 28 July
Showers southwest of Geraldton to Albany during the morning extending to
southwest of a line Denham to Esperance during the day. Chance of a
thunderstorm over the Lower West and South West districts, with moderate to
heavy rainfall possible. Showers also possible over the central and eastern
Kimberley and northeast North Interior.

Forecast for Monday 29 July
Showers southwest of a line Denham to Israelite Bay with the chance of a
thunderstorm over western and southern districts. Showers possible over the
Kimberley and North Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 30 July
Showers southwest of a line Denham to Israelite Bay. Showers also possible over
the Kimberley, Interior and Eucla districts.
