Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough extends from offshore near the Pilbara coast to the North
Interior. This trough will be pushed gradually north by a developing ridge over
central WA. A cloud band will begin to develop over the northern Kimberley on
Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A new ridge of high pressure extends across central parts of the State. The
next cold front will begin to move over southwest WA on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 25 July
Showers southwest of Denham to Kalgoorlie to Israelite Bay. Chance of a morning
shower over the far southwest Kimberley and Northeast Interior. Chance of
morning fog and frost over the eastern Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and South
Interior.

Forecast for Friday 26 July
Showers south of Denham to Leinster. Chance of a shower over the northern
Kimberley. Possible morning frost over the far northeastern Gascoyne and South
Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 27 July
Showers developing southwest of Jurien Bay to Albany. Showers also possible
over the north and east Kimberley. Possible morning fog over inland parts of
the South West Land Division and the southwestern Goldfields.

Forecast for Sunday 28 July
Showers southwest of Jurien Bay to Albany extending to Denham to Esperance
during the day. Chance of a thunderstorm along the coast between Perth and
Albany. Showers also possible over the north and east Kimberley and northeast
North Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
