Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge extending into northern parts of the State is weakening
and slowly moving to the east. Lighter easterly winds will lead to warmer
temperatures this week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is moving across southwest WA during today. A new near stationary
high pressure ridge will develop over central parts of the State later today as
the cold front continues eastward today and into Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 10 July
Showers and rain south of Coral Bay to Warburton, easing about the western
districts and western Gascoyne in the afternoon and evening. Chance of gusty
thunderstorms about the coastal parts from Busselton to Bremer Bay Bay. Windy
at times over southern WA. Chance of morning fog over the southwest Pilbara and
adjacent far northwest Gascoyne. Dangerous surf conditions for coastal
activities from Bunbury to Albany.

Forecast for Thursday 11 July
Light showers over the western and southern coastal districts, and southern
Interior. Chance of morning fog over the inland South West Land Division,
southern Gascoyne and western Goldfields. Light early morning frost possible
over the eastern Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern and far southwest
Goldfields.

Forecast for Friday 12 July
Light showers over the southern coastal districts. Chance of morning fog over
the inland western South West Land Division.

Forecast for Saturday 13 July
Light showers over the southern coastal districts. Chance of morning fog over
the inland southern South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
