Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge over southeastern and eastern WA is weakening and moving
east. A cloud band developing over Pilbara will extend to the Interior and
southwest Kimberley later in the week, before contracting east later in the
weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A moderate cold front approaching the southwest will weaken today as it tracks
east. A low pressure system will arrive on the west coast on Thursday and also
move inland towards the end of the week.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 26 June
Showers and rain areas over the southwest Pilbara, Gascoyne, western Goldfields
and South West Land Division. Chance of gusty thunderstorms about the western
districts of the South West Land Division. Areas of morning frost over the
South Interior, inland Eucla, southern Goldfields, far eastern parts of the
South West Land Division. Chance of morning fog over western Gascoyne.

Forecast for Thursday 27 June
Showers and rain areas over the western and southern Pilbara, Gascoyne,
Goldfields, central and southern Interior, Eucla and South West Land Division.
Chance of gusty thunderstorms over the South West Land Division, Goldfields,
southern Gascoyne, and western Eucla. Heavy falls possible about the west coast
and over the Goldfields. Windy at times across the eastern Gascoyne,
Goldfields, and southern Interior.

Forecast for Friday 28 June
Showers and rain areas over the Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, western and
southern Interior, Eucla and South West Land Division. Chance of thunderstorms
over the Goldfields, western Eucla and across much of the South West Land
Division. Heavy falls possible on the south and west coasts.

Forecast for Saturday 29 June
Showers over the Interior, Goldfields, Eucla, Pilbara, southwest Kimberley,
Gascoyne and Southwest Land Division, easing over the west coast and western
Gascoyne during the day. Chance of morning fog over western Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
