Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge over southern WA is directing cooler southeasterly winds
across the north. A cloud band is expected to develop over the western Pilbara
during today and will extend into the Interior later in the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is extending over southern WA. A cloud band will
develop across the northern Gascoyne during today ahead of a cold front
arriving on the west coast on Wednesday. A low pressure system will move in
over the west coast on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 25 June
Light showers along the south coast. Showers developing over the western
Pilbara and northwest Gascoyne during the day. Areas of morning frost and fog
over inland parts of the South West Land Division, the southeast Gascoyne,
Goldfields and South Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 26 June
Showers and rain areas over the southwest Pilbara, Gascoyne, western Goldfields
and South West Land Division. Chance of gusty thunderstorms about the west
coast. Areas of morning frost over the South Interior, Eucla, southeast
Goldfields and adjacent South East Coastal districts.

Forecast for Thursday 27 June
Showers and rain areas over the Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, central and
southern Interior, Eucla and South West Land Division. Chance of gusty
thunderstorms over the South West Land Division. Heavy falls possible about the
west coast.

Forecast for Friday 28 June
Showers and rain areas over the Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, central and
southern Interior, Eucla and South West Land Division. Chance of thunderstorms
in western and southern coastal areas south of Kalbarri.
