Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak ridge lies from the southeast to central parts of the State with a
generally east to southeasterly flow over northern parts. A trough will lie
over the western Pilbara today before moving east on Wednesday, as a new ridge
develops over central parts of the State.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge lies from the southeast to central parts of the State. Another
cold front moves through the South West Land Division during today with a
trough over the Gascoyne and Goldfields. The trough will move east into the
South Interior and Eucla on Wednesday as a new ridge develops over central
parts of the State, while a cold and unstable airmass moves over the South West
Land Division.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 28 May
Showers over the South West Land Division, southwest Gascoyne, Goldfields,
western Eucla and western South Interior. Chance of gusty thunderstorms
southwest of Carnarvon to Leinster to Israelite Bay. Moderate falls possible
over the Lower West district and coastal parts of the South West
district.chance of morning fog over the inland northern and central parts of
the South West Land Division. Partly cloudy elsewhere.

Forecast for Wednesday 29 May
Showers over the South West Land Division, Gascoyne coast, southern and eastern
Goldfields, Eucla, Interior, eastern Pilbara and southwest Kimberley. Chance of
gusty thunderstorms along coastal areas between Jurien Bay and Israelite Bay,
the Gascoyne coast and also over parts of the South Interior, far east
Goldfields and Eucla. Moderate falls possible over the Lower West district,
coastal parts of the South West district and southwest Kimberley. Very windy
over southern parts of the State.

Forecast for Thursday 30 May
Showers over the western and far southern South West Land Division, far east
Pilbara, Kimberley and northeast Interior. Possible hail along the Albany
coast. Chance of morning frost over the far western Great Southern.

Forecast for Friday 31 May
Showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Albany and along the south
coast. Chance of showers over the north and east Kimberley and northeast North
Interior. Chance of morning fog over the eastern Central West district, far
west Central Wheat Belt, far east Lower West and far northwest Great Southern
districts. Chance of morning frost over the eastern Central Wheat Belt,
northeast Great Southern, southwest Goldfields and southeast Gascoyne.
