Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak ridge lies from the southeast to central parts of the State with a
generally east to southeasterly flow over northern parts. A trough will lie
over the western Pilbara on Tuesday before moving east on Wednesday, as a new
ridge develops over central parts of the State.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge lies from the southeast to central parts of the State. A weak cold
front is forecast to pass over far southwest parts of the South West Land
Division today. A further cold front moves through the South West Land Division
during Tuesday with a trough over the Gascoyne and Goldfields. The trough will
move east into the South Interior and Eucla on Wednesday with a cold and
unstable airmass for the South West Land Division.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 27 May
Showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Hopetoun. Chance of
thunderstorms over southwest parts of the South West Land Division in the
evening. Light falls expected. Chance of morning fog over inland central parts
of the South West Land Division. Mostly sunny over the remainder of the State.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 May
Showers over the South West Land Division, southwest Gascoyne, Goldfields,
western Eucla and western South Interior. Chance of gusty thunderstorms
southwest of Carnarvon to Leinster to Israelite Bay. Moderate falls possible
over the Lower West district and coastal parts of the South West district.
Partly cloudy elsewhere.

Forecast for Wednesday 29 May
Showers over the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, Eucla,
Interior, eastern Pilbara and southwest Kimberley. Chance of thunderstorms
along coastal areas between Jurien Bay and Israelite Bay, also over parts of
the South Interior. Moderate falls possible over the Lower West district,
coastal parts of the South West district and southwest Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 30 May
Showers over the western and far southern South West Land Division, far east
Pilbara, Kimberley and northeast Interior. Chance of morning frost over the
eastern Central Wheat Belt, eastern Great Southern, far southeast Gascoyne and
the adjacent western Goldfields.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
