Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge to the south is maintaining moderate to fresh and gusty
winds over northern parts, easing later in the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system in the Bight and associated ridge will dominate the
weather pattern well into the week. A weakening cold front will brush the far
South West Capes today, with another cold front due to cross the west coast
later Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 21 May
Light showers southwest of about Busselton to Albany, otherwise mostly sunny
over the remainder of the State. Windy over northern parts of the State, mostly
morning.

Forecast for Wednesday 22 May
Light showers southwest of about Margaret River to Albany, otherwise mostly
sunny over the remainder of the State. Windy over northern parts of the State,
mostly morning.

Forecast for Thursday 23 May
Mostly sunny throughout.

Forecast for Friday 24 May
Showers developing southwest of a line between Kalbarri and Walpole during the
afternoon and evening, with the chance of gusty thunderstorms near the coast
between Perth and Augusta. Mostly sunny elsewhere.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
