Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge to the southeast is maintaining moderate to fresh and gusty east to
southeast winds over northern parts of the state. A weak trough lies near the
Pilbara coast.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure system south of the State will move closer to the south coast
today before weakening on Monday. A trough extends from the low through central
parts of WA. A weak ridge lies over the southwest corner.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 5 May
Showers over the Southwest, South Coastal, Southeast Coastal, Great Southern
districts and far south of the Central Wheat Belt. Showers tending scattered
over the South Coastal districts. Possible thunderstorms over the South
Coastal, South East Coastal and adjacent Great Southern districts, the eastern
Goldfields and western Eucla. Chance of morning fog over the far southern
Goldfields, the adjacent Southeast Coastal district and western Eucla.

Forecast for Monday 6 May
Showers over southern districts of the South West Land Division and southern
Goldfields. Possible thunderstorms over the South East Coastal district, far
eastern Great Southern and Central Wheat Belt, southern and central Goldfields
and western Eucla. Possible morning fog over the southern and central parts of
the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 7 May
Isolated showers along the south coast, west of Albany. Possible morning fog
over the far southern South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 8 May
Mostly sunny. Windy morning over the Central West, southern Gascoyne and
northern Goldfields.
