Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge to the southeast is maintaining moderate to fresh and gusty east to
southeast winds over northern parts of the state. A trough will begin moving
over western parts of the Pilbara through today.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system will remain near Tasmania for the rest of the week. A
cold front will move eastwards across the south coast during today. A low
pressure system then moves south of the State over the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 3 May
Showers over southern coastal districts, with a period of showers moving over
remaining parts south of about Geraldton to Norseman to Israelite Bay during
the day. Possible thunderstorms over the eastern South East Coastal district
and adjacent southern Goldfields. Possible morning fog over the northern Lower
West, southern Central West and adjacent Central Wheat Belt districts.

Forecast for Saturday 4 May
Showers over southern coastal districts of the South West Land Division.
Possible thunderstorms over the eastern South East Coastal district, southern
Goldfields and western Eucla. Possible morning fog over southwestern parts of
the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 5 May
Showers over southern coastal districts of the South West Land Division.
Possible thunderstorms over the eastern South Coastal district, South East
Coastal district, southern Goldfields and western Eucla. Chance of morning fog
over southwestern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 6 May
Showers over southern districts of the South West Land Division and southern
Goldfields. Possible thunderstorms over the South East Coastal district,
southern and central Goldfields and western Eucla. Possible morning fog over
the southern and central parts of the South West Land Division.
