Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system and associated ridge will continue to weaken over the
northern parts of the State as a weak cold front brushes the south coast. A new
ridge will build over the north of the State from Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front brushes the south coast on Sunday. A ridge will rapidly
building in the wake of the front with another high pressure system to move
south of the State on Monday. A trough and embedded low deepens off the west
coast from Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 28 April
Light showers southwest of a line Busselton to Bremer Bay and extending to
south of Busselton to Katanning to Salmon Gums during the day. Chance of
morning fog over the Great Southern and Southeast Coastal districts.

Forecast for Monday 29 April
Chance of showers over the eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and south
coastal districts, east of Albany. Chance of thunderstorms over the Gascoyne,
the adjacent western Goldfields and far northeast Central Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Tuesday 30 April
Showers and thunderstorms over most of the Gascoyne, western Goldfields and
South West Land Division. Showers also possible along the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 May
Showers and thunderstorms over the South West Land Division, southern Gascoyne,
southwestern Goldfields, and western Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
