Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge to the south will continue to bring dry, fresh and gusty
southeasterly winds, particularly in the mornings, over northern parts of the
State to about Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system in the Bight is slowly moving eastwards whilst a broad
trough persists off the west coast. The trough will be pushed eastwards on
Monday by a weak cold front brushing the south coast. A new ridge will
strengthen south of the State in the wake of the front.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 20 April
Mostly sunny and dry conditions persisting across the State. Windy over the
Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne and North Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 21 April
Mostly sunny and dry conditions persisting across the State. Windy over the
southern Kimberley and Northern Interior.

Forecast for Monday 22 April
Light showers over the South West, South Coastal, southern parts of the Great
Southern and South East Coast districts. Dry over the remainder of the State.
Much cooler for southern parts of the South West Land Division. Windy near the
west coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 23 April
Light showers about the south and Eucla coasts. Dry over the remainder of the
State. Windy over southern and central parts of the State.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
