Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weakening high pressure ridge south of the state has allowed a surface trough
to drift gradually eastwards across the interior. From Wednesday, the trough
will move back offshore as another high pressure ridge strengthens to the south
of the state.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge lies to the south of the state. A new high pressure ridge develops
south of the state from early next week.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 14 April
Showers possible over the northern and eastern Goldfields, adjacent western
Interior and Eucla, clearing during the morning. Chance of morning
thunderstorms over the northern Goldfields and adjacent western Interior.
Morning fog patches about southern and central inland parts of the South West
Land Division, and about the Goldfields.

Forecast for Monday 15 April
Dry conditions persisting across much of the State. Morning fog possible about
southern districts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 16 April
Dry conditions persisting across much of the State. Morning fog possible over
the South Coastal and South East Coastal districts.

Forecast for Wednesday 17 April
Dry conditions persisting across much of the State, apart from the chance of
thunderstorms over the western Gascoyne and adjacent northeast Central West
district.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
