Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A persistent ridge south of the State is directing east to southeasterly winds
across northern WA. Tropical Cyclone Olga is located north of the WA coast and
is forecast to move west to southwest offshore from Pilbara coast in the coming
days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge over the south of the State coupled with a trough down
the west coast will dominate the weather pattern for several days.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 9 April
Chance of a shower over coastal parts of the Kimberley and Pilbara, most likely
for the coastal fringe of the eastern Pilbara. Isolated light showers over
southern coastal districts east of Albany. Windy over central and southwestern
parts of the State.

Forecast for Wednesday 10 April
Showers and thunderstorms, possibly heavy at times, over the western Pilbara
and northwestern Gascoyne. Showers also possible extending over the remaining
northern parts of the Gascoyne. Isolated light showers along the south coast
east of Albany. Windy over coastal parts of the western Pilbara.

Forecast for Thursday 11 April
Possible showers and thunderstorms over the western Pilbara and Gascoyne with
possible heavy falls over the far western Pilbara and western Gascoyne. Chance
of a shower over the far northern parts of the Kimberley. Isolated light
showers along the south coast east of Albany. Windy over the Interior of the
State.

Forecast for Friday 12 April
Chance of a shower over northern parts of the Kimberley, western Pilbara,
Gascoyne, Goldfields, and northern parts of the South West Land Division.
Isolated light showers along the south coast east of Albany.
