Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough near the Pilbara coast extending into the Kimberley will remain near
stationary through to early next week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A couple of weak cold fronts will brush past the south coast this weekend, as
the west coast trough moves inland slowly. A new ridge will develop about the
southwest coast on Sunday, before building across southern WA from Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 30 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the northeast Kimberley, with possible showers
over the remaining eastern Kimberley and eastern Interior. Light showers or
drizzle along the southwest coast. Chance of morning fog about the Lower West,
South West, and South Coastal districts.

Forecast for Sunday 31 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the north Kimberley, with possible showers over
the remaining central and eastern Kimberley, and northeast North Interior.
Showers south of about Busselton to Israelite Bay. Very hot about the southwest
Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 1 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley, with
possible showers over northeast North Interior. Light showers or drizzle along
the southern coastal districts and far southern parts of the Goldfields. Very
hot about the southwest Kimberley. Windy over southern WA and the Darling Scarp.

Forecast for Tuesday 2 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley, with
possible showers over the remaining southwest Kimberley and northern parts of
North Interior. Possible light showers or drizzle along the southern coastal
districts. Windy over central districts and the Darling Scarp.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
