Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough near the Pilbara coast extending into the Kimberley will remain near
stationary until at least the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system in the Bight will maintain a ridge of high pressure to
the south of the state, while a trough will linger about the west coast this
week. Weak cold fronts will brush past the southwest coast later on Friday and
on the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 28 March
Showers and thunderstorms over eastern and northern Kimberley, Interior, and
northeast and central Goldfields. Chance of morning fog about the South West
district.

Forecast for Friday 29 March
Showers and thunderstorms over most parts of the Kimberley and Interior. Chance
of morning fog about the South West, South Coast and Great Southern districts.
Possible showers in the afternoon and evening along the far southwest coast.

Forecast for Saturday 30 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the north Kimberley, with possible showers over
the remaining Kimberley and northeast North Interior. Possible shower along the
Albany coast.

Forecast for Sunday 31 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the north Kimberley, with possible showers over
the remaining Kimberley and northeast North Interior. Showers also possible
along the south coast between Augusta and Israelite Bay.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
