Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough will persist over the north of the State this week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure trough near the west coast will be pushed east on Friday ahead
of a weak cold front crossing the southwest of the State.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 7 March
Showers and thunderstorms with possible heavy falls over the Kimberley,
Pilbara, Interior, far northern Goldfields and northeast Gascoyne. Showers
about southern Goldfields, Eucla and South East Coastal. Windy over the Darling
Scarp in the morning.

Forecast for Friday 8 March
Showers and thunderstorms with possible heavy falls over the Kimberley,
Pilbara, northern and central Interior and inland Gascoyne. Chance of
thunderstorms over the eastern South West Land Division and Goldfields. Showers
possible over the remainder.

Forecast for Saturday 9 March
Showers and thunderstorms with possible heavy falls over the Kimberley,
Pilbara, Interior, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and far eastern South
West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 10 March
Showers and thunderstorms with possible heavy falls over the Kimberley, eastern
Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Eucla and eastern South East
Coastal district.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
