Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough will persist over the north of the State into next
week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge extends south of the State. A broad, deep trough has
pushed offshore from the west coast. The trough will move inland across the
west coast during the afternoon and push east across the South West Land
Division on Monday. A weak cold front will brush past the south coast on Monday
and will be followed by a new high pressure ridge.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 3 March
Partly cloudy over southwest Pilbara, northwest Gascoyne and eastern Eucla
districts. Showers and gusty thunderstorms over remainder of the state, more
frequent over the South West Land Division with possible heavy falls. Chance of
severe thunderstorms. Windy about the Darling Scarp in the morning. Very hot
over the inland western Pilbara and inland Gascoyne.

Forecast for Monday 4 March
Light showers over western parts Central West, Lower West, South West and South
Coastal districts. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and
eastern Pilbara, Interior, Goldfields, far eastern Gascoyne, Eucla and far
eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Chance of severe thunderstorms.
Very hot over the inland western Pilbara and northwest Gascoyne.

Forecast for Tuesday 5 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara,
Interior, Goldfields, far eastern Gascoyne, Eucla and eastern parts of South
East Coastal district. Chance of severe thunderstorms. Light showers over
eastern parts of the Great Southern, western parts of the South East Coastal
and adjacent South Coastal. Very hot over the inland western Pilbara and
northwest Gascoyne.

Forecast for Wednesday 6 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, eastern
Goldfields, northern Gascoyne and Eucla. Chance of a light showers about the
south coast between Israelite Bay and Albany. Very hot over the inland western
Pilbara and northwest Gascoyne.
