Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough will persist over the north of the State this week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure trough over the Gascoyne and Goldfields will slowly contract
north and east, as a high pressure ridge builds south of the State. A weak cold
front will brush past the southwest coast tonight and across the south coast on
Tuesday. A new trough will develop down the west coast from mid week.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 27 February
Possible showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and
eastern Pilbara, Interior, northeast Gascoyne, and eastern Eucla. Showers over
the southern parts of the South West Land Division. Chance of thunderstorms
over the Southeast Coastal and adjacent South Coastal districts. Windy about
the southern coastal districts. Very hot over the Interior, Pilbara, far
northeast Gascoyne and southwest Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, northeast
Gascoyne, and northern Interior. Very hot over the Interior, inland Pilbara,
northeast Gascoyne and southwest Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 29 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara,
Interior, eastern Gascoyne, eastern parts of the South West Land Division and
Goldfields. Very hot over the Interior, inland Pilbara, northern inland
Gascoyne and northern Goldfields.

Forecast for Friday 1 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara,
Interior, Eucla, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, central and eastern parts of the
South West Land Division. Windy in the morning about the west and Darling
Scarp. Very hot over central Interior, inland Pilbara and northern inland
Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
