Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the northeast Kimberley along the west Kimberley and
Pilbara coasts and will persist for the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge extends from a high in the Southern ocean over southeastern parts of
WA. A trough lies down the west coast on Saturday before the southern section
of the trough moves inland on Sunday. A new ridge will begin to push in over
the southwest corner on Monday morning, extending along the south coast during
the day.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 10 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over northern and eastern parts of the
Kimberley. Chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms over the remaining
Kimberley and inland western parts of the Pilbara. Windy in the morning over
inland parts of the Gascoyne, North Interior and Central West. Very hot over
the west Kimberley, Pilbara, western Gascoyne, and across much of the South
West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 11 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over most parts of the Kimberley and northeast
Interior. Very hot over the southwest Kimberley, Pilbara, western Gascoyne, and
central and northern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 12 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over most parts of the Kimberley and far
northeast Interior. Chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms over the
remaining Interior. Light showers over southern coastal parts of the South West
Land Division. Windy about the southwest, extending east over southern parts of
the state during the day. Very hot over the southwest Kimberley, Pilbara,
western and central Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, and far northern parts of
the South West Land Division. Milder about southern districts of the South West
Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 13 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley and North Interior. Chance
of afternoon and evening thunderstorms over the Pilbara and northern South
Interior. Windy about the South West Land Division and gusty over the Darling
Scarp in the morning. Very hot over the Pilbara, northern Gascoyne, Southern
Interior, and northern Goldfields. Milder about southern districts of the South
West Land Division and the Eucla.
