Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough remains over inland Pilbara and southern Kimberley. A deep
tropical low over the Northern Territory is expected to move into the eastern
Kimberley on Monday morning and track west across southern Kimberley on
Tuesday, before moving into the Pilbara on Wednesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge of high pressure lies south of the State. A weak broad trough over
the South West Land Division will move east during today and into the
Goldfields on Monday as a stronger ridge pushes in from the west.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 21 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northeastern parts of
North Interior, possibly heavy at times over eastern Kimberley and adjacent
northeast North Interior. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm with little or no
rainfall over the Pilbara and North Interior, eastern Gascoyne, southwest
Goldfields and over far eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Very hot
over the Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, Interior and eastern parts of the South
West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 22 January
Rain, showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley and adjacent North
Interior, heavy at times. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the central
and eastern Pilbara and central Interior. Very hot over the Pilbara, Gascoyne,
Goldfields, Interior, Eucla and far inland northern parts of the South West
Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 23 January
Rain, showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, North Interior and
eastern Pilbara, possibly heavy at times. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm
over the central Pilbara, South Interior, northeast Gascoyne and northeastern
Goldfields. Very hot over the Pilbara, Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, inland
Eucla and South Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 24 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley and central and eastern
Pilbara, possibly heavy at times. Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the
Interior, northeast Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla. Very hot over the southwest
Pilbara, Gascoyne and northern Goldfields.
