Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough will persist over inland Kimberley and Pilbara this week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A firm ridge located to the south of the State will weaken temporarily on
Friday before strengthening again over the weekend. A trough will remain in the
vicinity of the west coast for the remainder of the week.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 21 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, southern Goldfields,
eastern Pilbara, South West and Great Southern. Showers over far South Coastal
and South East Coastal districts. Very hot over the Kimberley, Pilbara,
Interior, northern Goldfields, inland Central West, inland Gascoyne, northern
Central Wheat Belt and inland Lower West districts. Windy across central and
southern districts.

Forecast for Friday 22 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne, Interior and Eucla. Chance of light showers about the south coast.
Very hot over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, inland Gascoyne and northern
Goldfields. Windy across central districts.

Forecast for Saturday 23 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne, and Interior. Very hot over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne,
Interior, northeast Gascoyne and northern Goldfields. Windy across central
districts.

Forecast for Sunday 24 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne, and northern Interior. Very hot over the Kimberley, Pilbara, inland
Gascoyne, northern Interior, inland Central West and adjacent Lower West. Windy
across central and southern districts.
