Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough will persist over the inland Kimberley and Pilbara during the
week.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is developing south of the State with a new trough to form off the west
coast.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 18 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley. Chance of a light shower
along the south coast between Bremer Bay and Eucla. Very hot over the
Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Interior and inland northern parts of the Central
West. Windy across central districts.
Forecast for Tuesday 19 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley. Chance of
thunderstorms over the southern Central Wheat Belt, northern Great Southern and
eastern Lower West district. Very hot over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern
Interior and northern parts of the Central West. Windy across central and
southwest districts.
Forecast for Wednesday 20 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northeast parts of the
Interior. Chance of dry thunderstorms over the northeast Gascoyne and adjacent
Interior and far north Goldfields. Chance of a light shower over southern parts
of the South West Land Division and southern Goldfields. Very hot over the
Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Interior and Central West. Windy across central
and southwest districts.
Forecast for Thursday 21 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, eastern Pilbara and far
northeast Gascoyne. Very hot over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, inland
Central West and northern Central Wheat Belt. Windy across central and
southwest districts.
